Leo Quispe is a Peruvian storyteller and filmmaker currently based in Providence, Rhode Island. He believes in using the screen for untold narratives of identity and culture. With a background in sound and video editing, Leo is now striving to be a writer-director of unique stories.

Leo is currently in post-production as writer-director of an independent short thriller titled Birdkeeper. He is also developing his senior thesis project Barrio, a documentary centered on the immigrant experience of Peruvians arriving to the United States. He is earning a B.A. in Modern Culture and Media and a B.A. in Literary Arts at Brown University.
